Super Lame

So, tonight is my night off. The "PLAN" was to go to this BBQ at UAF for springfest, hang out some before the evening, and then in the evening, go to Aaron's house and play Settlers of Catan with Aaron, Bryce, Aaron Ginnaty (Grundy) and whoever else would show up. So, I meant to get all dressed up before the BBQ, but woke up late. Picked Aaron up from class and went straight to the BBQ. It was crap. I talked to about 5 people, said hi, etc. The food wasn't even burgers and hotdogs, etc. it was gross sausage stuff, Veggie Burgers and this decent, but not great Ribs. Aaron has to go get his bike from TVC, and wants to ride back to his friend's Grundy's house.

The only fun I did have today was going mudding with Aaron. We took his truck up to Birch Hill on base. His truck was SOO muddy. He decided to drive through this Huge-O puddle. He ALMOST got stuck, but he didn't. He got himself out. He was worried for a second or so, and then pulled backward and forward, etc until he could Rally backwards and out of the puddle. It was exciting cause I had never really gotten close to getting stuck with him before. He hasn't gotten stuck since he moved up here. :D Hmmm.... knock on wood! LOL! ;)

He and I did NOTHING besides getting a milkshake and a later a sode and some cheese fries until about 9. We went to Aaron's house, and were trying to get ahold of Grundy to play with us. He was busy, but said to call back at 10. We did. He decides not to play. I passed up on bowling with Rachel (kinda) to stay and play this game with them cause Aaron really wanted to play this game with more than 3 people. So, when we find out its just us 3, he doesn't want to play, so we do NOTHING. I'm SO BORED!

Anyways, wednesday I worked until about 6. I made about $75 which isn't bad, but isn't great either. There was this lady as one of my last 2 tables who took FOREVER to order. When she did finally order, she ordered Pork Chops. I ordered them, and then was told we didn't have any (although it wasn't on the "out of stock" list ALL day. This apparently rocked this lady's world. "Every time I come in here you guys are out of what I want, I'm just going to have to stop coming here. I want a comment card. I'm going to mail it in." I feel bad, don't get me wrong, but it was apparently the biggest deal EVER, like someone died!

The other table I had was this group and one lady ordered a create-your-own pasta. They put bacon on it RANDOMLY. I brought it out without thinking, and she said she couldn't eat it with bacon. Thats understandable. I go back to the shortstaffed kitchen and have them remake it. It comes out of the oven with bacon on it again. I am shocked. They finally make it a THIRD time, no bacon. I bring it out, and although the bowl its cooked in the oven in is scorching (as always) but the noodles and sauce are ice cold and its even the wrong sauce. We gave up by then. We took it off the bill.

After work I met Aaron and Bryce and Debbie for the Bible Study thing we do at restaurants each wednesday. Aaron accidentally ordered the wrong thing, so I had to buy myself some of the right thing, which is okay. Then we come back to Aaron's house and played the game again. It was fun. We also played 1313 Dead End Drive and that was about all. In short today sucked and was super boring and lame and a waste of my ONLY day off!

Waking up Early isn't all its cracked up to be

So I'm sitting here blogging at 10:00 am, because I have to be at work at 11, and I have nothing to do. Sad. So, Monday I went to work, made NO money, and only worked until 3 or so. There was a new guy there, training. Nick trained him. It was pretty boring other than that, except that we were short cooks, like always, so its been ridiculous with ticket times. I got off work and Aaron was busy, so I paid my ACS bill, stopped into the mall, and talked to Cellular One. I wanted to figure out some details on getting a cell phone. There are two new nokias coming out within the month, but looking online, the features aren't all that great. There is one already there that a couple friends have that has better features. I'll probably get that one. I want a Nokia so I can drop it without it breaking. I came home and looked online and the new phones until Aaron called.

I went to Aaron's house, and we were supposed to hang out with Travis and Karrina, but she was busy with school work and he was busy with sleeping. LOL! We went to the store with Rachel and Aaron looked at bikes. We went to his house, got his truck, and he went to freds and bought a bike. He also bought me a cushy gel seat so I'd go biking with him on his old bike. We took both bikes up to UAF to go biking with Kyle. It was okay. I'm still sore from it, but I guess it was worth it. It was good for me.

Tuesday I woke up, went to work, made okay money, but i know I would have made ALOT more if the cooks could get the food out in a reasonable amount of time. The new guy got trained by Nora Tuesday. She is supposed to be the "official trainer." I think Betsy just didn't want me to be server yet when she said that. Either way, I was there until about 6. I went home to take a shower and have dinner, and remembered that the first LSA meeting was tonight. I took a shower, ran to College Coffee House to get bread and an Ice Rage, and then up to UAF. Nikki was the only one there. Louisa and Brad showed up at about 7:20, but we only had four, which means we couldn't do anything official.

After that I rented Aeon Flux before going to Aaron's house. He was STARVING, so we went to A&W, my house and the store, and then went back to his house. Bryce had been WAY excited all day because he finally got this game in that he's wanted for a week or so. He had even called Aaron in the middle of the afternoon on his cell, then at the house, then back on his cell, just to see if we were both there to play the game. We played and it was good. It wasn't the BEST game I've ever played, but it was fun. Its called "Settlers of Cataan." Rachel, I'm sure you will play it eventually cause he wants to play with more people. We watched the movie, which was really weird. It was confusing the entire way through, but I thought it was decent. I don't think they did.

When I came home there was a car in my parking spot. I really am getting tired of that. Its stupid that people can't figure out the parking thing! Anyways, I parked behind them. When I woke up this morning I heard this tapping, but I don't know if it was someone knocking on the door or something else. I had told my roommates to wake me up if anyone knocks, but didn't think about the chance that it would be the time they weren't here that someone decided to try and leave. This was at 9:00. I wasn't tired, so I got up, Ate breakfast (yay for hardboiled eggs, they cooked right!), called ACS about some LSA stuff, and then was bored. I'm about to do my hair and leave, but I had nothing to do besides that, which is why I'm blogging.

Stupid Blogger Won't Post Right.

So, this week has been busy, but its nice, cause i've been making LOTS of money. :D Lets see....

SUNDAY:
Easter! So, Lets see, Aaron and I were SUPPOSED to go to church, but didn't cause it was at 8:45am. I went to work and there was NO ONE there, so I left. I called later and they still didn't need me. I had the day off. Aaron and I went to dinner, got in a fight over the tip. We are okay now. We talked it out. We went to his house and watched TV. After, we were going to 4-wheel to McPeaks to get IceCream. I got in a big fight with Aaron AND Bryce because I asked them to stop going so fast, or over all these huge bumbs because I felt unstable, and I was getting my work shoes COVERED in mud. They didn't stop, and kept going, even when I offered to get off and walk. Either way, Aaron and I worked that out too, although we did get in a HUGE HUGE fight about that.

MONDAY:
I worked at 11. I only made $25 before I got cut. That was lame. I paid one of my phone bills and rented a movie. I stayed home and watched it until 6 or 7. I went to Aaron's to watch a movie with Karrina, Travis, and Aaron, but decided to cook Dinner instead. I made Taco's for us four and Rachel and Bryce. We all started to watch a movie, but Rachel left at the beginning and then Travis/Karrina left about halfway. All in all, it was a really fun time. :D

TUESDAY:
Ahhh, good old pasta tuesday. Made some average money, not outstanding, not bad. So I started this post like 3 days ago, and have been busy, so since I cannot seem to remember alot, it will probably be short until I get to recent events.

WEDNESDAY:
I worked at night today. It was a little nice to work at night because I haven't worked with a night crew in a while. I was second to last off, so I stayed pretty late. I made okay money though.

THURSDAY:
My day off. This is where the post originially started. I slept in, drove Aaron to class, went home and hung out until he told me he was done with class. I picked him up and we hung out with his friend (also named Aaron) the rest of the day, until Baha'i Elections. I went to that while him and his friend hung out for a couple hours. Before that we got my laundry done and bought a new cleaner fish. Its HUGE. So, during the Elections, I got elected for the Local Spiritual Assembly of Tanana Valley. It should be interesting to say the least. After that we went to glow put. That was fun, although Aaron Lee (the hockey player I used to like) was there, and it was a bit awkward... I'm really glad that I"m over him though and that I have Aaron. Its funny how I can look back now and see what and idiot I was then. LOL! I got REALLY sick after Aaron and I went back to his house. Really bad chills and nausea. Aaron took me home and stayed with me to make sure I was okay.

FRIDAY:
I called into work. I was SO sick the night before and still pretty sick that morning. Aaron went to work with Bryce, and I stayed home. In the afternoon Aaron and I went to April and Amin's house for her brothers welcome party. It was slow, and we left because they were doing their elections during the day that day. Aaron and I hung out at his house until we went to the film festival. Nava, Me, Aaron, Bryce, and Aaron went. It was retarded. I DID meet Nina's boyfriend though. Afterwards we couldn't figure out what to do. We rented Night at the Roxbury (which I was SHOCKED to learn Aaron and Bryce hadn't seen). I felt a teeny sick, but not much.

SATURDAY:
I woke up feeling fine. Went to work in the morning. I made a TON of money. After work, I stayed for another hour not taking tables to help out the cooks. I only get paid 7.15 an hour, so it sucks, but they needed it, and its another hour. After work I RALLIED to Aaron's house because I was so ready to be home. I hung out there most of the night, doing nothing, like always (besides going to town once) until I came home.

SUNDAY:
I had to get up early to take Aaron home, I picked up HOMEMADE chicken noodle soup from my dad. It was awesome (I ate it tonight). Work was so/so. I worked with Trav, which is fun. Everyone was getting mad. Pretty bad tips, but it was slammed and shortstaffed (a boston's theme). After work I hung out at Aaron's AGAIN all night doing nothing. He DID take my car today and change my oil though. Very sweet of him. :D I love him. Anyways, I'm off to bed. I'm really going to try to update more often because I keep forgetting what to write. LOL!

Money...That's What I Want

Thursday:
I worked in the morning, made not so much as the previous shift, but still enough. I like making money. Its nice to be stable.

Friday:
Another day off. Fun, but no money made. I stayed home all day so AkUSA could get ahold of me. They finally did, and told me they had hired somone, but that they would forward my name to the new branch building opening next door to Boston's, and they are going to begin the hiring in about a month or so. I figure I can work at Boston's until then, making enough money to get caught up and save. I didn't leave until the evening, when I went to Aaron's house, and Aaron, Bryce and I and Bryce's friend watched Chronicles of Narnia. I got home pretty late.

Saturday (Today):
I had to work this morning. Made some money, but again, not a whole bunch. Its still like $10 an hour at least every day. :D After work I went to my house to stop by, but went to dinner at my uncles house. I haven't seen my little cousins in a long time. It was alot of fun. Stopped by Aaron's on the way home, and watched Blue Collar Comedy Tour. It was funny. We went to Hot Tamales, and then they wanted to go Sledding, so they went sledding, and now I"m waiting for Aaron to come over. :D

Bills:
So, I'm up to date on EVERY bill, except my phone bill, and that I"m going to pay on Monday or Wednesday. The only bill due for the rest of April is rent for May, which isn't due until the last day of April. I can't wait untill I"ve paid my dad and Aaron back. Once I've done that I'm going to get a cell phone. I think about that every time I want to spend money. :D

Trip to Anchorage

So, Thursday night, AFTER I drove Aaron home and then back to my house, it was REALLY late. He wanted to get up and leave around 9 or so, but I wouldn't get ANY sleep, especially because I hadn't even packed yet. He called and wasn't all that tired, so we decided to leave then. We didn't get out of town until 5:00am, but it was earlier than we planned.

THE DRIVE:
I was going to drive part of the way, but after about 1.5 hours of driving, i was so drowsy that I was seeing things. I would slow down dramatically (not exactly SLAM the brakes) and he would freak out asking why. I told him I thought I saw a sheep. He thought it was sad. He had to drive, needless to say. I fell asleep until about Wasilla, where we switched, and I drove the rest of the way into town.

THE HOTEL:
We got into town. I had been planning on staying with Jordan (a friend of mine in anchorage), but I couldn't get ahold of her. I stayed in the hotel with Aaron (At least there were two beds). It was an okay hotel room. It wasn't horribally fancy, even though it was the westmark. We took a nap almost as soon as we got there, cause Aaron hadn't slept at all, and I had only slept a bit.

HOUSE HUNTING:
Everyone asks if I found a place. I looked a few, and the seem nice. We only got to take a tour of one because we started looking friday afternoon/evening, alot of places are closed weekends, and Monday we stopped by UAA and headed back to town. The place I took a tour of is "Alpine Apartments." It is a gated community and has a security guard during the evening hours. It is a bit expensive, when you consider I have to pay water and electric. I'm not sure if I'm going to get a place by myself, or have a roommate. I guess I have some time to figure that all out.

EATING:
One of the nice things about being in anchorage was all the choices for restaurants. We went to Outback, Skippers, Wendy's, Hooters, Papa Johns, and this restaurant upstairs at 5th avenue mall. It was really fun to try all this different stuff. :D I can't wait to live there so I can try a bunch of different places. I did TRY to eat at Royal Fork, but I thought they closed at 9, not 8 on sunday, and we got there at 8, when they were closing. That sucked. I love Royal Fork.

FEAST:
Saturday night I went to the Baha'i Feast in Anchorage. For those of you who don't know what that is, its a kinda of get together, often related to church in a way, for my religion. Anyways, it was nice to see all the people I haven't seen in a while. I told them all I might move to anchorage. They were very excited. I'm really glad I got to go, not only because I got to see people, but because it is good for me to go to Baha'i activities and be involved, but I have been having trouble with finding time. Aaron was pretty upset I was leaving him by himself at the hotel for up to 3 hours. He got over it. :D I'm glad because it was something I NEEDED to do.

OTHER:
Umm, besides all that, we did a little shopping... well not really. I got Mille Bourne, this AWESOME card game that I thought they didn't make anymore, but this game store in Diamond had it. Aaron bought this map thing for his computer, that hooked up with his GPS. He loves it. We drive around and it tells us where we are driving, and where things are. Its pretty fun. I think thats all though.

UAA:
We got to talk to the head of the Auto Department, and got all the information. Aaron applied for UAA online. The lady asked if we were married... I teased him about that. She probably had to ask, to try to help him get financial aid, but it still was fun to tease him. We didn't get out of town until about 2:30 or 3.

DRIVE HOME:
The Drive home was fun. I started driving, but felt REALLY weird. I couldn't figure it out. I don't know if I was tired. Aaron was playing around on his computer, and thinks its cause i kept looking, but I don't know. After an hour, he started driving. He teasingly complained that he had to drive there and back, mostly. I figured since I drove around town the entire weekend that we were even.

MONDAY NIGHT:
When we got back into fairbanks, we hung out at Aaron's house that evening. He put a sub-woofer and amp in my car, so now i have nice bass. :D It was real nice of him. I'm going to buy them from him for $75 when I have money, but that will be a while. We went for a walk monday night too.

TUESDAY:
I went to work. I made like $125 in a 4.5 hour shift. Thats pretty good, per house, especially because I'm getting paid 7.15 on top of that. I paid my electric after work, and Aaron and I went to dinner. I put some gas in my car too. We picked up ben and went to the store with him. We rented movies, and took ben home. We watched a movie, and then I went home.

WEDNESDAY:
My day off. I really didn't need it seeing as how I had all weekend off. I had an interview that morning at 9 with Pacific Movers. I got there, and they told me they thought it was at 10, so the guy was busy. They asked me to come back at 10. I came back and another lady was there. They called her name first, and she went upstairs. That was at 10:15 because they were late getting out of a meeting. She was done at 10:30 but while she was upstairs, another girl came in. THey called her name next. She went upstairs. At 10:45, they came downstairs and called someone else's name, but I thought they had just mispronounced mine. I corrected them and headed upstairs. They told me they didn't have my resume, so they checked downstairs. They had written on it that they didn't have a time scheduled. They only asked me one or two questions about work related stuff, asked me about what I do for fun, then explained the job to me. I don't really want it, but I'll think about it. It would be me ALONE in a warehouse with some guy and basically just making sure they keep in contact with the office. It sounds really slow and boring, and not enough people there. I went to Aaron's house afterwards. I was at his house until I went to a movie with my dad. We saw this dancing movie "Take the Lead" it was good besides being way to sappy. Afterwards I was late to the dinner/bible study thing. Then I had to rush off to get home to call AkUSA. The lady wasn't there. A guy from work had called and asked me to work for him. I didn't get it until too late though. Aaron is going to come over now, although my driveway has a BackHoe in it because they were plowing it and either aren't finishing it tonight, or they are taking a break. I hope they finish it eventually. Thats all for now.

Leaving Tomorrow

So, I'm excited about leaving for anchorage. I should update first.

Tuesday: Before I went to work, I called TDL and AkUSA. AkUSA said that they were still doing interviews, so I am going to call them back on Monday and see where they are at. TDL made an appointment for Wednesday morning. Aaron took my car during the day, and came and picked me up. I got paid $15 in tips from Nora, since I did most of the work that day. She doesn't have to give me anything since I am training, so her giving me anything is nice.

Wednesday: My day off. Those are nice. :D Aaron worked early in the morning. I had my meeting with TDL. They have a receptionist position at Pacific Movers. I have to call them Monday, and I will have an interview Tuesday morning. I hope it goes well, and quick cause I think I work tuesday morning. I spent most of the day with Aaron which is always nice. :D

Thursday: I worked by myself today. It was really easy. I made $45. :D I got off at like 3:30 (so I made $10 an hour in tips alone, and thats on top of the 7.15 and hour wage). Aaron stopped by right before I got off, and asked if I would drive him and his friend to go sledding. I did, picked up my check, wrote a check to my insurance company, dropped off my check at the bank, and then after they were done sledding, I cooked them dinner. It was fun. Aaron and I watched TV most of the evening, then he decided he wanted to go sledding again. I drove him and bryce there to meet the same friend from earlier. I have to go drive them home now.

First Day of Training

So, yes, the rumors are true. I am officially a server at Boston's. I'm still looking in on those other jobs I posted about, but until I get one of those, IF i get one of those, then I will be content serving. Summer is going to be pretty busy, so I will hopefully make lots of money. :D I want to work lots of hours and save up money so I can move. :D Lets see So saturday night I watched King Kong. It was okay, but pretty drawn out. Not a more than once movie. I didn't get home until late because of the movie, so I didn't get alot of sleep, especially with changing over the clocks. LAME!

Sunday: My last day as a Hostess. I got to train the new girl. She is totally cute. She is the owners neice. I told Aaron she is his future girlfriend because she snowmachines and fourwheels and she likes polaris and chevy, etc. I worked until 6. I got off work and went to pick up Aaron. We went to dinner to celebrate my last day as a hostess. We came back to my house to hang out some. It was a pretty chill day. I got to bed EARLY cause I was so tired.

Monday: So, I got up late cause I am SO not used to getting up any earlier than noon. I was to work on time, but Aaron had to take my car. I had fun. It was pretty slow, but it was easy training. I know I HAVE to do the training, but most of it is stuff I already know. I basically know how to take tables, etc. The things I did learn were either things I could learn as I go, or the sidework. That was good to have explained. After work, Aaron and I went to shopping for sunglasses for him. We went to the new "Donkey's Gear" place. I got $20 sunglasses, but after I left, I relaized I didn't really like them, and Aaron said they were messed up. We went to WalMart and I got $5 sunglasses, and he got a $10 hat and $10 sunglasses. Go WalMart! We returned the other sunglasses, luckily, they accepted it. :D I got a few togo tips today, plus the rest of my Hostess Tipouts.

Dreams: So, I had some really weird dreams last night. One was where a girl I know who is a GOOD girl, doesn't drink or anything, I was living with her and this guy I know from work named Nick. I know he usually drinks, but in my dream he hadn't been drinking for a while. This girl came home Drunk and passed out, and nick helped her out of her jacket and backpack and stuff. Then, when she woke up, it wasn't her anymore, it was Aaron. He didn't remember Nick (in my dream, it seemed he should have known him) and then looked at me, and didn't remember me. I woke up really upset. I made him promise today never to forget me (even if he was lying, just to ease my fears I guess).
The second one, I was at work and I broke the printer for the register (like that prints out the bills and stuff). Betsy got mad at fired me, and Nick (also in this dream... WEIRD!) got mad at her and stormed out because she didn't do anything when he broke it, but she fired me for it. I got into a car that I thought was Aaron driving (driving my car maybe) but then later it turned into my ex-boyfriend Chris, and he was driving REALLY crazy, like almost running into stuff. He had all these creepy people in the car who neither of us knew.
The third one, I was at Boston's, after they fired me for breaking the printer (it was a different dream, I woke up and fell asleep). They kept asking me to help them, like to take a table, or to hostess a little. I told them that I wouldn't help them because they fired me, although I told nick I'd help him roll silverware, just for sticking up for me the other day when they fired me. This one had a few people from my work, and they were all really mad that I got fired.

WEIRD!

Employment:
So, I tried to call TDL, but they said to call back Tuesday Morning. I have to get up early enough to do that tomorrow morning. Alaska USA called, but they said they were still doing interviews. I've tried to call back a few times, but she is busy. I'm hoping she calls me before 8, when they close. She didn't say they weren't hiring me, but she didn't say they were either. I guess, tomorrow I'll know more. If I have to, i'll keep serving, making tips, and save money. There is a Boston's in Anchorage, so I MAY be able to transfer there at the end of the summer, and work there until I find a permenant job there. If I do move to anchorage, which I hope I will be, then I will want to find a job I can work at for a while, like at least the 2 years Aaron is in school, and probably a couple years after that.

Aaron:
He was being very sweet today, looking at my ring alot and holding my hand when we'd walk around and stuff. I LOVE it when he has those days where he just can't seem to get enough of being in love with me. Its a wonderful feeling, being loved, and loving someone. :D Anyways, any more about it and he will be all upset I told everyone how lovey dovey he was. LOL! :D

I actually stopped expecting it.

So, lets see. Tuesday I had my interview. I thought it went well. I hope I get the job, but I really don't think I will, just because I have no Teller Experience. Oh well, everyone wish me luck. I went to work, and Aaron came over after work. Wednesday was my day off. Its nice to have a day off. :D I spent almost the whole day with Aaron (which is always nice). The only time I wasn't with him was when I went to my dads to do my Taxes. I got them done and get a $204 refund. The main thing that made me mad though, was that I had to pay an extra $10 online to file them because Denny's would not LET me claim my tips truthfully. I was already paying $10 to file online cause its WAY easy. Then I had to pay $10 extra because it wasn't the "easy" form anymore. Oh well. Stupid Denny's.

Thursday I had to work, and Aaron came over after work again. :D I like spending time with Aaron. Anyways.. LOL! Friday, Aaron called UAA and it turns out he has the option of going to school there for 10 weeks, then coming back to fairbanks for the rest of each semester and the summer for his internship, instead of doing it in Anchorage. I didn't like that idea, so I hope he still goes to anchorage. I want to move to anchorage. I had friday night off, so I went to my friends margarets b-day party, then went sledding in a truck bed liner and went to denny's.

Saturday (today) I worked during the day. They wanted me to work late, but I had to clean the bathroom. I cleaned it, cooked dinner, cleaned out my car, bought shoelaces, rented a movie and washed my uniform. I am about to watch King Kong at Aaron's with Bryce, Travis and maybe Karrina.

Okay, so the latest update on the Employment situation. I am still working at Boston's. I am supposed to hear by Monday whether I get the job for Alaska USA. I am OFFICIALLY promoted to server. I start training on Monday. They have put up the schedule for it and announced it to the servers this morning. I'm excited, even if I get a different job. TDL (the place I was working with to get an office job) called saying they had a job they wanted me to look at. I am going to call her back on Monday and make an appointment to catch up, and see if I want this job. So, after this week, I will either be a server, work for Alaska USA, or have another office job.

I am going to Anchorage on Friday. I leave Friday Morning and will be back Sunday night. Aaron and I are going to look at UAA and meet with the Auto person, look at apartment complexes that I can live in, and that he can live in until his parents move to anchorage. He thinks it would be fun to live in the same apartment complex, so we are like down the hall. We will also see some of my friends. It should be fun. I can't wait.
