Get ready for the weekend!

So, I guess I didn't post at all this week, although I thought I had. :P So, lets see, this monday after I blogged I went to Boston's with my two best friends. I had an AWESOME time. Rachel and I went to the store for a while before, waiting for aleena, and saw lots of hot guys, and then met Aleen at Bostons. At boston's there are TONS of hot guys working there, and lots of cute guys who visit. I think I just stared at this one guy who was eating there. I have gotten pretty balsy recently, at least with guys. I'm really happy about that. Confidence is an awesome feeling. I"m really enjoying it. I don't know if its because I've been running or what, but its awesome. Anyways, after bostons we stopped by the store again to visit a friend, then went home. Tuesday I lost my contact and had all this drama all day because I hate not being able to see. :P Finally, my dad helped me out and brought me some contacts, then I went running again, then went out with aleena just for a split second or two then she took me home because she had a headache. Wednesday I didn't go to work, took my final, then got my dads car for my eye appointment. We didn't go jogging because rachel had an appointment. I worked early and had a great night. All these hot guys came in, I had lots of tips, had money that I didn't know I had, and the guy from walmart's friend called, and turns out I had seen him in the coffee shop before. He's cute. :D He said he'd call sometime and we'd party. I had alot of fun. :D Anyways, and today I went to work, had my eye appointment, then went out with a friend of mine who I hadn't seen in a while. That was alot of fun. I bought a new shirt from AE. I like shopping. :D Anyways, and thats it up to now. I wanguess I want to I guess respond to a comment posted to my blog. Even though the person may never read this again, maybe someone will read it and have the same questions, so I figure I'll answer. I would disagree with the comment that "my attittude is closer to 15", but everyone has a right to their opinion. I borrow my dad's car every once in a while because I don't have a car of my own. THe reason I don't have a car of my own yet is because after high school, I worked, had a car, but then decided to take some time off and do service, and not get any money. That cost a lot because I couldn't work, but had to still pay for stuff. I racked up quite a credit card debt, and so I'm working to pay that off. I am actually going to be buying my own car in September. I do spend quite a bit of money on clothes because I like to shop. The reason I "can't live without my cell phone" is because it is the only link I have to everyone I know. I refuse to be a hermit and not have any social contact (thats just my personality) and no one has my home nubmer because I don't give it out, I give out my cell phone number. I'm not so much "afraid" of getting fat and ugly, I just want to stay healthy, and I don't think that being overweight is healthy. I am glad that i'm working out and taking care of myself. :D I actually don't wear alot of makeup, but those who read this who know me, and see me recently, know that. Either way, I'm sorry if something I say ever offends people, and i'm sorry if they feel bitter about how I live my life. I am actually really happy with my life. I am having fun with it. I think that with the people who go to my school I'm pretty in sync with them. My roommates and friends have their parents help them out because they are going to school full time, and they like to shop, etc. Anyways, if the person that posted that comment is reading this, feel free to comment again, although it would nice if I could respond to it, so I don't have to waste all my time and space on my blog bothering people with something they aren't interested in. ANyways, so, tomorrow I work during the day, probably will go party later, but then I work saturday morning, sunday for a couple hours in the evening, then monday, tuesday during the day, and then wednesday all day, and then thursday and friday during the day. I guess, when I put it that way it sounds like a normal week. I guess the only difference is, the monday tuesday is at the coffee shop. Oh well, sorry for the huge diversion, and sorry for the HUGE blog. I'll try to keep up every other day. Oh, and the total working out has been Tuesday-Friday, Monday, tuesday, thursday (and hopefully friday). I'm really proud of myself, cause thats 4 days a week for two weeks so far. :D

Why Can't I seem to Post on the Weekends

Okay, so sorry I never post on weekends. So, lets see, friday during work my dad went and gave me the car. :D Yay. I might have already written that friday. LOL! So, after work I had to go to work, but first rachel and I ran, then I went tanning, then I went to work. I dropped my phone while I was working out :( and so it didn't work all night. I got home and didn't want to be at home, so my roommate and I went to Taco Bell and the Store. I tried to call Aleena, but couldn't see on my phone, so ended up calling my friend Beni twice at 2 in the morning. LOL! It was really funny. I didn't go to bed friday night until 6, which is sad cause I didn't really do anything. I got up saturday afternoon and went to cell one to get a new phone and went to the store and stuff. I picked up rachel and me and ron and rachel went shopping all day. :D I Love my new cell phone. My old one is kinda broke, but I can get it to start working sometimes, so I'm saving it in case something happens to this one. Saturday night after aleena came over, we took her car out to harding lake, and the party was already broken up by the cops because of some assult thing (which I heard more about later). We turned around, and made it back to north pole, but almost ran out of gas. Then we dropped off Rachel and Ron, went to this crazy guys house, and then left becuase we didn't want to be there (they weren't even fun, they were just annoying and mean). Then we went home. It was kinda a bust. Sunday, after I had gone to sleep at like 6 or something like that, I had to get up at noon or so to go to my tanning appointment, where I found out what had happened at the party. This girl got run over while someone was backing up, and some girl got punched by some guy because she was trying to breakup a fight between him and some other guy, and then apparently someone shot someone elses truck. We are really glad we ended up being late, on the other hand, EVERYONE was there. My friends each knew someone who was there, so it was a huge party and everyone knew about it. Oh well, sunday night at work was crazy because of a concert. There was some SAPPY guy playing, and all his songs were love songs, but he was a decent singer/good guitar player. Anyways, went to bed at 2:30, got up at 7:30, called in to work, told them I was coming in late, and took a shower and went back to bed. Got up at 10:30 and went to work. :D It was nice to sleep a bit. I felt like someone was gassing me though. I was so tired. Anyways. work today was nice, I walked all the way to class, and forgot the teachers wife is having a baby today, so we didn't have it. I went running with Rachel again. YAY! Now we are going shopping, and I am going to go to dinner with Aleena.

Darn Network Repairs

So they are doing network repairs in the dorms, so i can only get online during the day at work. :P So, I have run the past 3 days, and i'm planning on running again tonight (maybe). I'm really proud of myself. :D Yesterday, after we went running, I helped out at work a little late and then went to dinner with Maria. It was pretty fun. Wednesday night was pretty calm, just chillin at home, and stopped by the CCH to get something to drink (well, for my roomy to get something to drink). My dad just gave me the car for the weekend (yay!) so now I have a car this weekend, but no driving it to any parties. Its for errands and work and class, etc. I have to figure out how to get him from the airport on sunday though. Oh well, this should be a good weekend. I got paid and I have a car. :D I think thats about all I have to report. I work tonight. (yay tips, boo tiredness) LOL!

To be poor is to be relaxed

So I found out I don't have to work tomorrow, which I am partially ahppy about because I have been exhausted. On the other hand, its nice working because not only do I have alot of fun working but the money is always nice. I was kinda expecting to get the tips from tonight, but thats okay because I get paid in two days. It feels like I jsut got paid a little bit ago because i've been budgeting, so I've had money left and also because I have the tips from the Coffee house, so I don't feel BROKE for the week before my paycheck. :D Its been really really nice. I'm exhausted today though. :P Oh, I am also really glad my econ teacher apparently does crack. (he doesn't really do crack, its just something I say). This exam that I BS'd and Guessed my way through, I got a 94% on. Thats pretty sad. I am NOT worried about the rest of the year. I might not get an A, but I might. If I don't get an A its because I messed up on 2 quizes, but if I don't get an A, it will be a really high B. :D I WORKED OUT YESTERDAY!!! I went running for about 10 minutes straight, and then cooled down, then walked back up the hill. Last night i had a blast working because the regulars at CCH are really fun. Today has been pretty slow, and i've been tired, but I have to work out again today after work with rachel. :D Its good for me, but i'm pretty sore. Somehow my arms are sore too though, and I'm not sure why caues I only ran yesterday. LOL! So, I think the guy who works at the "cafe" across the st (basically UAF Food service) likes me. Oh, and at lunch today me and my supervisor and rachel are going to go shopping for office supplies (paid work trip). :D It should be fun. Class is going to be boring, almost garaunteed though. :P Thats all for now.

I'm Canadian!!

So, I found this out the other day. My mom e-mailed me about heritage stuff, and about registering me as like 1/16 cherokee or something like that. In the process she casually mentioned that my dads grandfather was French-Canadian. I got so excited, realizing that i'm canadian, because I LOVE Canadians. :D LOL! Anyways, just figured i'd let you know. Oh, and I will take erynn's intiative as an example and start working out. :D YAY! Rachel and I are going to work out after work today. She brought her stuff and everything. YAY! So, thats all the news for today, besides the fact that I cleaned my room last night (yay!). Oh, and I also realized that I will never be a maid of honor. All my friends who might get married or, even just anyone I can think of has Sister's or Closer Friends, or Children, etc. Oh well, its not a huge deal, it just might be fun to be the person who supports someone like that.

It was a computer malfunction, I swear.

Okay, so I realize its been a really really long time. What happened was that on June 12 I typed up this HUGE blog about what I had been doing in life, and it was really good (I thought) and it really was really really really long. Well, apparently blogspot was under repairs or some such thing, and it wouldn't post my blog. I tried to go back to save it as a draft instead then, and couldn't, so everything was lost. I was pretty disappointed. At them time, I decided to do it again later, so i would be less frustrated. So, now i have to figure out what has happened since may 30th. So, the day after my last blog I started my second job. I love it, but its exhausting. I really like doing it and have met tons of people (mostly hippies) and have learned alot. I was really really busy with that, which is why I didn't post. Aleena had left for michigan for Dave's brothers wedding. I missed her, and as soon as she got back she had gall stones. :( I stopped by to visit her once. So, starting June 8th there was an over 1000 person conference in town (evolution conference). It was actually really fun, although also stressfull. I ended up working 2 almost 40 hour weeks. The first one I didn't get overtime because I only worked a couple hours over a couple different nights, and the second week because I took friday off. The conference was awesome. Even though we were only working for it, we met alot of cool people. I have friends in Puerto Rico now and at Brigham Young Univeristy, and then different places in california and such. We had so much fun getting to know everyone. We took them canoeing once, hung out at their hotel once, took a couple out to dinner, drove them to the airport, and went on the riverboat with them (and ate at the salmon bake with them). Working there was even fun, but a little stressful. I used to hate it when my business teacher would say that "line" and "staff" management fight all the time. At the Newsminer it wasn't like that. Well he was right, because "line management" doesn't respect staff management. (which he also said that staff management thinks they are more important than they really are, which is pretty offensive because staff management is basically everything I do). That was the probelm in this case. We, the business office, were dealing with the money, and got no recognition, no respect, and basically, the money was really off because of it. Basically, after that was over, there was a bit of cleanup, but Rachel and I took friday off and maria took part of friday off. We went and saw "sisterhood of the traveling pants" which i thought sucked and I had a hair appointment (I have bangs now) and a tanning appointment. :D Friday night I went out to harding lake with Aleena and Felicia and My roommate Ron and then our friend Mike and one of his roommates Nic met us out there, and we eventually went back to Mikes apartment to hang out a bit more. It was pretty fun. We have some great stories. 1) We decided to go swimming, and it never really got deep, so we ended up getting out and changing back into our dry clothes cause it got cold. There was this paddle boat sitting there, and everyone was gone, and so we decided to take it for a spin. We got into it and took it out a little bit, but all of a sudden Aleena and Felicia's butt's started to get wet. We bailed on the boat and decided to walk back to shore (cause it was all shallow). Turns out the shortest way back to shore was the deepest part of where we had been, so my pants got soaked. :P Luckily I had shorts, but they were cold. :P 2) Mike showed up and we decided we wanted to make a fire cause it was windy where we were, so we moved to the fire pit and mike tried to light a fire with a propane torch thing he had in his truck. He almost caught his hand on fire which was funny, but crazy. We finally got the fire started. :P 3) Driving back we were going pretty fast to try to keep up with each other and Felicia hit a seagull going close to 100 mph and so we drove back to look at it and it was dead. I have a picture of it on my phone. We all screamed so loud. :P Anyways, that was friday night, saturday night was pretty boring cause i worked like hell all night and then took aleenas car to meet her and then we all went back to my dorm (after trying denny's but they were closing) and they left pretty soon after. Took my dad to dinner for fathers day, then worked the rest of the night (didn't realize I had to either until they called during dinner) and then stayed up last night to do laundry. From now on, I will try to update every day or every other day because otherwise my memory fails and I have no idea what happened, and no one wants to read this huge of an update. :P
